Today, I brought my 3.1” CSX-E out to the range for some IDPA like practice. Set up a stage where we shot 2 targets available from each side of a wall, then move forward to a bianchi barricade and shoot 2 steel plates from each side. 12 rd min stage.

We ran it freestyle as well as Strong hand and weak hand only sides for all targets and plates.

The CSXE did well. No bobbles nor malfunctions of any kind. It simply ate all my reloads and shot where I aimed.

After my friends were done, I then just shot the plates. First 2 rds per plate (8 rds) freestyle, then I did some strong hand/ weak hand drills. Had some good runs, some not so good. That said, I hope to shoot this gun in BUG Div in my IDPA season coming up next month.

I use an OWB kydex holster from Upperhand holsters- does well enough.

Another good practice session today with my 3.1” CSX E.

Set up an IDPA target 5 yards slightly to my left, another target 7 yards slightly to my right and a steel plate 10 yards at my center.

Object was to draw, shoot each target 2x then finish with the steel. Fastest time was 4.6 seconds. Tried strong hand only, was a second slower @5.6 seconds.

I do like this gun
