I bought a Pearce Grip - Grip Extension model #PG-MPPL and modified it to work on my CSX.
I attached some cell phone pictures but they aren't the best. The big picture is the outside perimeter on the extension needs to be trimmed to the same level/profile of the original base pad (pics 2&3) so that the mag will fully insert. I trimmed it with a fine hacksaw blade and the touched it up with a box cutter and a file. I'm sure there are better ways to make the cut. If I had to do it again I would try a cutoff wheel on a die grinder and I would leave some material on the front to hold the floor plate up into the magazine better (pics 4&5). Once the mag is inserted the floor plate is held in by the mag-well. I've put about 50 rounds through it with no issues. I might be concerned about the floorplate moving if I were carrying the mag as my spare but it now stays in the gun when I carry. This is on a 10 round magazine.

Wow, that's inspiring, David! I don't generally think of modifying parts for other models, but it certainly worked for you there. Thanks for taking the time to share the photos and the description of what you did - only time will tell what fruit will come of the seed you planted in my head. Awesome! :)
