I have a chance to buy a 1076 with 4 mags from my local dealer. I haven't seen it yet but he tells me its in nice condition.

He's asking $600.

Deal or no deal?

thanks

Vic

Sounds like a fair price. I paid $500 for mine about three years ago.

If indeed in "nice" shape, and with 4 mags, $600 is a very reasonable price. The extra 3 mags are worth at least $100. I would expect to pay more than $600 for the gun with one mag.

The two extra magazines are worth about $100. Based upon my recent purchases of a 1006 and a 1066 I would say anything in very good to excellent condition for less than $750 is a good price. So, considering that the two extra magazines are worth about $100, then $500 is very reasonable.

DEAL!

Any 10mm S&W auto in exec. condition is worth $600 these days. 3 extra mags are worth $100. If I was offered a 1076 with 4 mags for $600 and it was in exec shape, I would buy it. NOW! But that is just me.

I recently traded for mine but it came without a box or papers, just one mag and the gun and my LGS had it priced at $600. Aside from not having the box/papers with it, it was in about 90%-95% condition excluding the dimmed night sights.

I recently bought another 1076, a confirmed FBI model in NNIB condition. I paid just under $1000 for the gun, box, paperwork, shipping and transfer. The one before my FBI model I payed $700 for but the seller tossed in an extra dozen new mags to sweeten the pot. That one I estimate I have $400 dollars in the gun and $300 in spare mags.
