Based on responses to another thread it appears I'm way out of touch with current values of Model 19s and 66s. I own a handful plus of these guns.... some are "very nice" shooter grade some true safe queens...... a mix of 2 1/2, 3 and 4 inch guns.
For awhile folks were saying markets were soft...... now with another "panic" are prices spiking?
Haven't seen one in a LGS in several years.....haven't bought one in the last decade ...........don't really follow auctions as I think buyers from Calf and Mass. etc. and alcohol induced bidding tend to skew the prices
All my 19s are pinned and recessed
Two 4" 66s are no dash guns P&Red with stainless sights.
Sorry no pictures.......
I also have three 3 inch 66s; two -3s and a -4
I know the general rule is the shorter the barrel the higher the price..... except for the 3" 66s.........
So for all of us who've lost track of current markets...........
What are the current market value of these guns.......I know check the auctions....... but I'm more interested in hearing about local market values .......
