Custom grips

Is there a thread on here anywhere that shows off the custom grips on member's guns? Not so much the gun in its entireity, but focuses on the grips. I find the grips to be truly awe inspiring in many cases and would like to see more of them.

I don't think there is a thread about custom grips. I just look at them as I look around the forum. I like pretty grips to. Don

If you do a search there is a thread on fancy grips buried somewhere, I was looking at it the other day.

There are two categories of custom grips. Really good looking grips, that are fancy and pretty, and may fit your hand better than the factory grips.

Then there are custom "competition" grips, usually carved on, puttied up, bondo filled, not necessarily very pretty, but fit the owners hand perfectly. Go to an International match sometime, and look at the grips on the match air pistols, free pistols, etc.

I've seen and held some of those built up and shaved down putty filled suckers before. As ugly as they are, they are truly beautiful in the hand lol.
