General info:
Bolt action, .50 cal, and .30 cal twist/click in camo and the Bethlehem olive pens are $35 ($30+$5 S+H). Shotgun shell fountain or rollerball pens are $75 for most woods.
Other wood bodies and materials generally cost an additional $5 because of materials cost and labor. Very exotic woods and shotgun pens may be more.
I may be able to substitute a gel refill for the ballpoint depending on pen type. Most pens including the bolt action use standard Parker style refills.
Before sending money, it is best to send me a message at [email protected] with what you want so I can confirm if I can make it, pricing and delivery time. Some materials I have to order.
Picture gallery - sorry for the poor quality but I stink at photography....
24kt gold Shotgun shell Fountain Pen in 'Winchester Red'
2kkt Buckeye Burl Shotgun Rollerball (also available in Fountain Pen)
Amboyna Burl with Gun Metal Bolt action.
African Gabon Ebony.Gun metal Bolt
Real .50 cal casing with Forest Camo.
The pictures a poor and the colors are off a bit, but you get the idea. Glass fiber is bluer than it looks and the tips are copper. The ebony and the buffalo look black, but both have a very small amounts of brown detail and the ebony has a grain to it while buffalo is smoother and glossy.
Top is Glass Fiber/acrylic, Bottom is Indian River Buffalo Horn both gunmetal bolt action.
top - African Gabon Ebony/Gunmetal
middle - Urban camo - Chrome
bottom - Maple burl - gunmetal (love the burl - Picture doesn't do it justice - wanted to keep it, but hey I'm a wood guy
Here is why I say you can't tell what the final product will look like until it is done. This is a picture of the maple burl in its natural state and then finished.
A .30 cal Magnum Twist and a .30 cal. bolt both in gunmetal
Olivewood from Bethlehem in the Holy Land with certificate of authenticity
Shotgun shell fountain pen in African Gabon ebony/Cocobolo
A .50 Cal in forest camo, a .30 cal click pen, a .30 cal bolt in forest camo (bad pic).
50 cal in desert camo
Comments from customers.
"I got my pen from Jim and it does not disappoint! Smooth and well-fitted. I got it for a friend who has a thing for bolt action, wood-stocked rifles so I hope he likes it."
"Bought two pens from Jim. Very nice work, and a very creative Father's Day gift for the father who seems to have everything he wants. Turnaround was quick."
"I got my pens today. They look and feel great! I very surprised by the heft and quality of them. .... I honestly wasn't expecting anything this nice. I'd say these are not only the coolest pens I own, they are an amazing value too. I'm actually going to order a few more I'm so happy with these.... the .50 cal sitting next to my monitor has already gotten a few comments. That's the greatest desk pen ever.
"
"Just got home and found a package waiting for me. The pens had arrived and they are gorgeous. I'm so very impressed and glad i purchased them. They will make fine gifts....should have purchased another one for myself."
