You went serious on it. You will wind up with better results than I did. I went right at it with a fresh hack saw blade, moved in with some 60 grit, and finished with some 200 grit so far. I'm still undecided on how much more I want to remove. I didn't even bother to freeze it any. So far so good and I like them better than the Hogue Bantam as its a funny shape in my hand and too sticky while the Monogrip is too long and sticky, the Pachmayr Compac is too bulky for a .38 and the Compac Pro is too skinny, and lastly the Uncle Mikes was just too long with three fingers while the two finger is to minimalistic... I'm staying away from wood only because of the cost. If I order more again I'm going to try the Precision Hideout grip next only because I don't see a plastic Badger grip.
