Shot my new CXS-E today. Trigger is terrible. Thought the E series fixed this. I’m pulling so long and hard I think it’s on safe when it finally fires. Needless to say groups are crap.
Anyone else experiencing this ?

I have not had this experience- my 2 CSX-Es (3.1 &3.6”) triggers are fine. Are they as good as my DW 1911- no, but they are reasonable for a defensive oriented gun. I shoot mine in my local IDPA matches in BUG division and have done fairly well.

My subjective opinion is the trigger is better than my stock striker guns.

I’d recommend having another shoot your gun to confirm your assessment and if confirmed, contact S&W
