Cylinder bolt problem?

I bought a K-22 a few days ago and I broke it down and cleaned and oiled it. Everything seemed fine but I notice that when I push forward on the thumbpiece, the cylinder bolt goes forward but at the last minute, it "sticks", and there is a click as it goes forward. Every so often, I have to push hard to get the thumbpiece all the way forward. I have opened the cylinder and the thumbpiece goes back and forth very easy, but I notice that the cylinder pin is hard to push into the back of the cylinder. Is this normal on the K-22, does it aid in making this gun so accurate? I have two other S&W revolvers and the cylinder pin is noticeably harder to push in on the K-22 than on the other two guns. What do you think?

If you feel you are competent in disassembly, take off the thumbpiece, remove hammer and take out bolt, being careful of the spring and plunger. Clean everything good, lightly oil and replace.
