Cylinder Stop Spring ??

I just tore down a 65-3 because I was having an occasional cylinder skip past the cylinder stop,I cleaned up the burrs on the cylinder and removed the cylinder stop.I noticed the spring for the cylinder stop was slightly bent when I removed it.I did straighten it but need to know if it is OK to use this spring?

Yes, it should be fine - if not, they are easy to get.

yes, they can quite easily be "distorted" out of shape either going IN or coming out.....just be careful .........compress it as you slide it in.........

Got it back together and it is working as well as it was years ago-much better!!

My experience.....they cylinder stop spring is the most miserable part under the side plate to change.

Ditto and easily bent or kinked cramming it in.
