I have one. I use the .17 for prairie dog plinkin' and have only used the .22 for tin can killin'. Wonderful little rifle, very classic. I recommend it highly!

Thanks for the recommendation.

Looking on a dedicated rimfire board I found that there apparently was a recall of a few versions of this rifle. Was yours affected?

Interesting as I've been wanting a CZ bolt and have both calibers already. What's the triggers like on those?

A guy on my "home" board reported that the stock triggers are a bit long and gritty but not too bad (to him at least). He also stated that there is a good $15 trigger kit for them. If I pull the trigger (pun intended) on this later today I'll be able to tell you first hand soon.

I have that combo and really like it. It was originally a .22wmr/.22lr and I traded the wmr for a .17hmr as it is easier and cheaper to get ammo. Plus the .22wmr didn't shoot as good as I would have liked. The .17 hmr is a tack driver and the .22 lr isn't too bad either. I also did a little trigger work and it is ok now, about 2lb if I remember correctly. I don't think you can go wrong with one.

I bought the CZ American 455 combo Package last year with the 17 HMR barrel and 22LR barrel. I put the 17 HMR barrel on it and I love it as it's an accurate rifle and fun to shoot.

Sad news. I did not get it. Turns out it was a consignment by another regular (an ex-Russian sniper) and someone had already promised to put a down payment on it. If that falls through it's mine tho.

I have a cz 452- awesome gun! I put a lot of faith in cz rim fires.

Looks just like mine! Mine was not subject to recall that I ever heard of and I've never had any problems with it. My son has a .17 Savage and I have to admit the trigger on his is a bit better than the CZ's. Mine is a bit gritty, but I can work with it OK. I really enjoy the .17 cartridge as it is a perfectly good 200 yd prairie dog round - sometimes even a bit further! If you do finally get a chance at one of these combos, jump on it!

I bought one a couple of years ago and it is a very nice rifle. I did notice that when I changed for the lr barrel to the hmr barrel it took 66 clicks on my scope to rezero my scope. Now all I need is the 22 mag barrel.
