CZ CraZy

This is the CZ I kept a CTS Long slide. It’s amazingly accurate. The 97 I had was Cajunized and also quite accurate, just didn’t need so many 45’s. BamBam has the Kadet I owned years ago.

Watching prices now on the Shadow 2 Compacts on the internet and local. Actually both the Compact Shadow and regular Shadow look fantastic. Someday, Larry

My love of CZ's started by accident while I was at the range one day. Not many of us there and I'm on one lane far to the left and another guy far on the right. The RO hears me shooting my M1 carbine and asks what I have. So, he is checking it out and the guy on the other end of the range comes by to look at it. He likes it and I offer to let him shoot it. He refuses going no no no, not unless you shoot something of mine. He shoots my carbine, likes it, and we go to see what he has. A Glock, a Ruger, and, what I find out later, is a CZ Shadow. So, I pick that. Oh boy, shot a mag out of it and had the biggest smile on my face. This led to the addiction. I couldn't find a Shadow, so ended up buying an SP01 as my first. Now have a Compact, a steel Compact SP01, and a P01 Omega. Carried the compact for a while, shot great, but a bit heavy. So switched to a P01 Omega. Takes same mags and aside from weight shoot almost the same to me. Also like the slightly longer beaver tail.

The
cz slide frame set up is a "rip off" of the 1950s Sig 210.... a gun with a great reputation of accuracy

Eh, not really. There are quite a few pistols with slide inside the frame. The gun is completely different otherwise.

I mean is every pistol that rides outside the frame a ripoff of early designs, such as the 1911?

Bought a CZ Shadow 2 about a year ago. Fantastic gun!!! Still see them occasionally for $899(non optic model). Wish I’d had bought it years ago.
