I have CZ 75 RAMI. They come in two flavors - the B model with a safety lever and a D model with a decocker.
Below is a CZ 75 Compact (SA/DA with a safety, in Condition 1, cokced and locked) and below it is a CZ 2075 D RAMI (with a de cocking lever, and decocked on a loaded chamber). The RAMI has the shorter 10 round magazine installed.
Below are the same two pistols, but with the CZ 75 Compact with the hammer lowered to the quarter cock position. You'll note it's in nearly the same position as on the decocked D model RAMI.
I find the "B" Model CZs have a trigger reach that is just a bit too long with the hammer all the way down, but the reach is fine in the quarter cocked position. More importantly the safety is too small and too far forward to reach with the thumb on the strong hand, unless you've got really long thumbs, so the B models really are not suitable for SA Condition 1 carry, and I end up carrying them in DA mode with the hammer positioned on the quarter cock notch.
Consequently, when I got a RAMI, I just selected the D model as the trigger is also in the same conveniently shorter position. Below the RAMI has the 14 round magazine with the finger extension. The RAMI will also accept the standard Compact 14 round magazine.
The all steel CZ 75 Compact model is a great range gun, but it's a bit of a boat anchor for concealed carry.
The CZ 2075 D RAMI is almost ideal if you want a DA/SA pistol. It's a bit wider than a 1911, but the overall form factor falls in between the officer model compact 1911s, and the sub compact 1911s in .380 ACP. It is easy to conceal, and the weight of the alloy frame CZ 2075 is also ideal - heavy enough to be very controllable and easy to shoot well with a full power self defense load, but light enough to be easy to carry.
I've tried the Micro 9 and SIG 938 and they just don't have the controllability of the RAMI in rapid fire. In a self defense situation I want to be able to put rounds on target both fast and as accurately as possible.
Holster wise, I carry mine in a Wild Bills Concealment Covert Carry Holster. It's a cross fit, not an exact fit, as it's designed for a similar sized Glock, but it is still an excellent fit. The only fit issue is the excess length but that soon rolls over the end of the slide anyway. It's a tuckable design and works well tucked or untucked.
Overall, I like the RAMI a lot for concealed carry. Mine has been extremely reliable. It's accurate for its class, it's easy to control, and light enough to carry comfortably all day long. The availability of tritium night sights as a standard option is an added plus.
