I just ordered 5000 and it went through as normal.

OK, when i had tried, it said out of stock when I went to check out. Glad it worked for you . I have enough anyway from a recent MidwayUSA order, and was just checking the total price. Midway was a bit cheaper, I have to pay sales tax with Cabelas.

FWIW, at a LGS in a nearby city they had a large quantity of SPP, mainly Federal but quite a bit of Winchester, and some LPP. The salesman states primers are showing up again but they are still having problems finding powders like W231 and BE. They sell locally, no shipping. Since January I've found 1 box of CCI SPP at this store so perhaps the thaw is ending.

I'm still in the "if the price is acceptable, buy it now." Sure will be nice to be back buying components in a planned way instead of getting what you can when you can. I won't pay the crazy prices though and I have enough of a stockpile to get through the foreseeable future.

Our Cabelas is getting CCI pistol/rifle, regular/magnum stocked almost daily and they're honoring the online sales price in the stores. Don't know if it'll work for you or if yours is getting supplied likewise. Downfall is the 1K limit. I'm "fortunate" in that I pass by C's quite regularly.

They are also in "unlimited" quantity online. Unfortunately you can't ship the primers free to the store for pickup BUT the CLUBFIVE promo is honored for primers AND their hazmat is "only" $20. Just a thought!

Do you know if they have any magnums, blujax?

Dang, wouldn't you know that the one day in months that my favorite powder shows up I'm in the hospital getting a stent put in one of the arteries in my heart.. I'd already given up finding it and bought 8# of Titegroup. Must have screwed up my karma somewhere. (although I can't really complain since the procedure went well and I came home yesterday.
