**DAILY** In-Stock Reloading NOTICES

Recobs still has 1 and 8lb jugs of W748 in-stock.

Webfarmer, glad to hear you were able to get some 748. Wondering if Winchester is using W231 in their commercial ammunition line, as I see no reason why it hasn't hit the shelves yet. I guess I didn't realize how popular 50 cal. is, because every known powder vendor has it in about every size jug from every manufacturer, along with 869, and 7828. Maybe if Alliant took a break on the Power-pro series, and put out some Bullseye, Unique, Red Dot, and Blue Dot--vendors would have some powder that people want and actually sells.

Novalty, I've been keeping an eye out for your powders too. I hope things break loose W231, HP38, Bullseye, WST, AA #5 and Titegroup wise!!! Hope ya got the funds available when they finally do :)

Well if you see some, would appreciate an email. This site and about every other one that talks about firearms is blocked by my work's network.

Thanks for the heads up - I'm looking for power pistol. I know powder is hard to come by and all, but Alliant Powder Power Pistol - 4lb for $135 + hazmat + shipping - does that seem a little high? Or, is that the new price?

That is high for 4lb but it's availability is scarce.

OK, here's a rant from an old curmudgeon...

I would really like to see posts on this thread about availability of reloading components only. So far this thread is 15 pages long and approx 1/2-2/3 of the posts are "Gee, glad you found some Win XSC" or "Wish I could find some Win XSC", or "Wow, I can't find any Oolong orange pistol powder"...

So, flame if you want, but I sand by my statement...

Recobs has several powders in-stock: BLC-2, Benchmark, H322, H335, Varget, W748, W760, IMR3031, IMR4350, and Trailboss.

I am a little hesitant to post this, as I can not vouch for the seller. So this is at your own risk. Numerous powders, rifle and pistol, at this link. Probably will go fast as people get home today.

Again, you are on your own.....

Smokeless Powder for Sale

Yikes - way overpriced! He wants $220 for any 8 pounder jug of powder. I bought an 8 pounder (W-748) a couple weeks ago from Recobs for $158.79. That's $61.21 difference. This is all before shipping and Hazmat of course for both. $6 high per pound on the 1 pounders. $10 high (basically) for primers. Guess if you're hurting but it smells of GunBroker LOL.

And, just about all of those powders, for waaaay too much, are mainly rifle powders. Rifle powders are starting to show up, on the mainstream suppliers' sites, at reasonable prices. It's the pistol powders that are still scarce.

Midway has CCI #500 on sale through Monday. I ordered 10K and with hazmat and shipping, it came to $304, so just over $30.00 per K delivered. CCI Small Pistol Primers #500

On another note, lets keep this thread for notices of "in stock" supplies and not a place to complain about the prices of components or dealers that you have had problems with. This is a quick way for this thread to get locked down. I have been assisted in finding compontents many times by postings in this thread. If you don't like the price of something someone posted, don't buy it! Someone else may think it's reasonable.

Those looking for powder within driving distance of Ashland and Shelby, Ohio may want to consider taking a drive.

Fin, Feather, and Fur currently has a very good selection of Hodgdon Rifle powders in stock, saw decent levels of stock for BLC(2), CFE223, Varget, and others in both 1 and 8 lbs. bottles. There was also a moderate selection of Accurate Rifle Powders but the only remaining handgun powder from Accurate is one lonely pound of #5. For Handgun powders it's still rather thin but they did have an ample supply of one lbs. bottles of Unique and are expecting some Bullseye in the next week or two. They also had a moderate stock of IMR SR7625 that I've found to be an excellent powder for light recoiling range loads in 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP. Unfortunately the SR7625 is position sensitive in higher volume revolver cases so revolver shooters are out of luck unless you are loading for a Magnum. If you are loading for a Magnum there was a fair stock of Hodgdon H110 and I also think I saw some Longshot.

Over at the Sportsman's Den In Shelby they had some 8 lbs. bottles of SR7626 on display and 6-10 one lbs. bottles of the SR7625. Also saw 2 8 lbs. bottles of Red Dot and a couple 1 lbs. bottles of the same. Like the Fin they also had a good selection of Rifle Powders from Hodgdon, IMR, and Vihtavouri. BTW, prices were a bit better on powders at the Den by 3-4 dollars per pound but they don't have as wide a selection of powders as the Fin.

Note, neither of these shops does internet or mail order sales so if you aren't within driving distance don't get your hopes up. However, if you are within 200 miles stopping at both shops should get you enough powder to make the drive worthwhile.

A somewhat local gunshop to me that posts their stock online showed 5 (1lb) jugs of Bullseye in-stock this morning. I called to see if I could reserve a couple as it as over a 1 hour drive to their shop, ended up with just a sorry. :(

Recob's has some Varget in stock.

Update: nevermind, it's gone
