Hopefully it will show up soon. I got some IMR 7625 a few weeks ago, then some Hodgden CFE Pistol last week, since IMR/ Hodgden/ Winchester seem to be the same company (the only 3 brands listed in Hodgden's data site) maybe it's Winchester's turn next.

I got a free shipping notice from Freedom Munitions for last week end so it could be so. It was only for 48 hours but still a promotion to move produce is a good sign.

Primers have been available for a while, the sales are new. Now if POWDER would follow suit (being able to order what you want instead of what's available and the good stuff disappearing in minutes) I would be more than happy.I wonder if this indicates more availability when they run discounted price promotions

The "sales" may be new but they've jacked up the prices to brick and mortar prices and then "discounted" to more than they were a few months ago That said, I've also seen a recent spike in the brick and mortar prices. We all need to hold onto our hats I think

A friend of mine wrote to Alliant and I was shocked they wrote back. He was assured that the ammo market has continued to slurp up all the powder they make and little is shipped to the distributors. They also said there is no plan to expand production because they think demand will still die down at some point and then they will have expanded for no need. I feel this is BS for the same reason I wish they would expand .22LR manufacture. There has to be over a million new shooters out there, there are dozens of snappy new rimfire designs out there than ever before, and I feel safe saying a portion of these new shooters also want to get into reloading. I don't think anyone gets how big shooting has gotten and I think they are choking the supply be refusing to believe the demand. But what do I know, I'm just some chump that has been daily checking gunbot and ammoseek for over a year now...
Good news! I shared the news about Powder Valley with a work associate who is looking for his first powder buy! He got it and can start reloading. I have enough powder for now so I decided to NOT buy more. Now someone who needs it might be able to get it. I hope more people have the same perspective.

Starline Brass has opened up the Backorder list for their 357 Magnum. Those looking for some 357 Magnum brass better step up and get in line before the backorders are closed. BTW, projected run date is 5-2-2014 so it won't be a long wait.
