They were limiting you to two 9 oz bottles. I didn't need any other powder so that would have been expensive with Hazmat

I've got 2 of those bottles now waiting to try in a new Ruger Blackhawk in 45 Colt. Could have thown in some WSF or Unique to balance it out.

You are my hero! Ordered up 10# of Varget & 4# of BE86. Both of those have been unobtanium for some time. Been hearing nothing but good about the BE86. Was beginning to wonder if Alliant was still making anything besides AR Comp.

Call Gander, they will match it and free ship till xmas, some states no tax. I just got a RCBS PRo 2000 and they matched Walmart.com. Gander was high but took 150.00 off of their price of 649.00. Just can't be online only stores, must have a walkin store too to qualify. Just thought, if those are Black Friday deals, they won't match it.

Anyone out there loading 40's? I have ran into a stumper, got to noticing that my reloads were all over the paper and no consistency in grouping. decided to weigh out each bullet in my last casting session and to my surprise my weight variancy was from 183 gr. to 190 gr., I am using a LEE 401-175-TC- and wheel weights. I am not complaining about the bullet, but would like to find some load data for the 185 gr., and the 190 gr., My powder of Choice is "Power Pistol" and HS-6.
Another question, what is considered a safe weight spread when loading for accuracy and consistent grouping?

Very true....but without hazmat or shipping I saved $30.
Can't debate that, I'll try and buy say 10 lbs, maybe catch a deal on shipping, and try and share the expense with a friend. My last solo purchase cost me $23.00 a lbs for Bulleye delivered. But not everyone needs that much powder around. I also would have to drive 225 miles to a Bass Pro. Haz mat fee is cheap compared to a tank of fuel. The price of living out in the sticks, which is just fine
