Dale Jr replaced by Danica Patrick!?!

I respect her. She's risen to the top level of competition in a male dominated sport at a very young age. I don't know how you can question her ability and motivation. And gawd, she's sooooooooooooo hot!

Sh'e be an instant hit on NASCAR even though a lot of Mrs. Bubba's may not take to her. I'm thinking she could drive at least as well as Jr., maybe better.

Howdy

AJ seems to go off on people a lot, it's a wonder someone hasn't wiped the floor with him.
.

Hi Joni_Lynn
I'll bet that is a pretty tall order. Maybe not so much now that he is an old man but he was a bull of a man all his life.
A.J. and Stan the Man were my childhood heros and I dont think Stan the Man armed with a Louisville Slugger could have taken A. J.

Also for what is is worth I think Danica Patrick is a talented driver. A lot of teams wish their drivers did as well.
Thanks
Mike

I find it immature to go around yelling at other 'professionals' like you're a child. I doubt many of you men in the forum or ladies either would tolerate your spouse doing that to you for very long.

Now you tell me! You mean that's not the way marriage is supposed to be?? Dang here I've been getting yelled at for the past 40 years and thought it was normal.

Shoot, all my wives yelled at me...well, both of them anyway. Guess I was doing something wrong...or maybe not.

A good number of racers have had their bad moments. Dale had used that infamous Earnhardt bump to remove a lot of people from from in front of him with no regard to the result.
When I was younger my father and I attended several races, enjoying them a lot.
I'm much more of an Indy/F1 fan, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to see Dale (at Loudon NH) twice. What do the good ol' boys call pushing another driver off the track?...the "Chrome Horn" from back in the chrome bumper days. Interesting people, Nascar people. That's a generalization, for sure, but I was in turn one twice for the New Hampshire race and every time Gordon dived into turn one, about 250 gentlemen stood up and gave him the finger. A few die-hards did it for all 200 laps! Man, sit back and enjoy the damn race, Jethro. One of the Porta-Potty outhouses had a sign that read, "Jeff Gordon Museum: All contributions appreciated" Man, tough crowd. I was at a Formula One race (Isle Notre Dame), in Montreal, with over 100,000 people and maybe 10 police officers. No goobers urinating under the grandstands or chuckleheads puking in the mens room.

Sounds like a real dull place to go! No wonder Formula One racing never went over very big in this country. Might as well go to the opera if you can't have anymore fun than that.

Oh, yeah, it was really dull surrounded by incredibly attractive women-barely dressed-and polite race fans.

No kiddin'. I've been to the Petit Lemans at Road Atlanta. It's a terrible race to watch. You can't see more than 1/10 of the track at one time. No fans giving one driver the finger, cuz nobody seem to really care that much. No close racing - I mean the radio announcer got excited if two cars were even on the same lap. The ticket cost about as much as a seat at a Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Heck, I'd rather go across the street to Lanier Motor Speedway and watch some wannabe's bang it out on a 3/8 mile oval short track than watch that "high class" racing. There's a reason CART went under, and there's a reason IRL is gonna go under...it's called NASCAR.

Only thing you'll get from those stuck up women at an FI race is your face slapped.

Now those young pretty NASCAR ladies are southern women that you can actually talk to. And the only thing you're likely to get slapped is your rear end.
