Perusing the "used" gun case at my local gun shop I didn't see anything that floated my boat; then I heard the "I have a few high quality 1911s I haven't put in the case yet...some sort of a Kimber Raptor, a Dan Wesson ECO and a Dan Wesson PM-9.

Oh snap you should see how nicely the PM-9 has cleaned up! It was originally purchased in July (original purchase record in the box) and contains everything that came from the factory including owner's manual, two magazines, etc. I think I got it for a "fair" price (LOL) $950 out the door. The only thing missing is the original stocks; mine has checkered rubber double diamond stocks. I'll get some better photos tomorrow when the sun is shining...

Very nice!! I've been looking for a PM-9 and settled on a Springfield RO in 9mm until I can find the PM-9 locally. Have Valor, VBOB, ECO and mom has my older CBOB and ECO as well Love them!

Dan, the other Wesson Part II

I went back and bought the DW ECO 9mm that my local guys acquired when they got the Pointman 9 I bought last week.

Never owned a DW 1911, but I have heard a lot of good about them. Are they being made by CZ?

Yeah they're very nice, probably the best production 1911 made right now.

Here's my Specialist. It's a very nice gun, not as polished as my Ed Browns but it's great value for the money.

Picked up a DW Specialist this past summer. My 1st & only 1911 and I love it.
I shoot this better than any of my other 11 handguns. Haven't taken any of my semi autos out to the range since buying this.
Really would like to pick up a DW PM 9 but don't have the funds right now.

Dan Wesson is owned by CZ, but they are made by Dan Wesson people in the US (New York).
