I traded for a 6" Dan Wesson revolver in .22lr today. It is in excellent condition. It has a Monson, Ma stamp and is serial #66xx. Does anyone know anything about these guns? The fit and finish is really nice and has a light crisp trigger. The frame size is similar to a S&W "K" frame.

I bet you have a DW model 15-2. I have one in .357 Magnum. The barrels are easily user replaceable. You can get a multitude of barrel lengths from 2" to 15", usually in 2" increments. The Monson DW Model 15 is a good quality handgun.

You done good Gary, especially since 22 revolvers seem to be hard to find that don't cost an arm and a leg. Dan Wesson's are very good guns. I had a .357 Pistol-Pac back in the 70's that was just as fine of a gun as they get. Sold it some time in the 90's--Been kickin' myself in the a__ ever since.
Regards from down in Austin.
