Ruthie and I have jointly applied for the award.

Of late, it has been miserably hot and muggy. Three nights ago, as we lay looking up at the ceiling fan, Ruthie said: "the fan just doesn't seem to be doing much".

The 5 watt bulbs in our heads flickered and simultaneously we said: " shouldn't the blades be turning the other way"?

Dueling blank stares. We had both been reduced to primordial soup dwellers.

I made the mistake of telling mother. She just sent me this:

Pretty much every one I've ever seen has a little switch on the side that reverses direction. Did the switch on yours accidentally get flipped to the wrong position?

BTW, the one in your video wouldn't last long - especially if the wiring to the bulbs is connected. I think the wiring "unwinding" is the reason it runs backwards towards the end of the video.

DARWIN IS DEAD.

He died from overwork. Production can't keep up with demand for the awards. 13 Years in FL & a ceiling fan in every room. Do we change the direction twice a year??? NAH. AFTER ALL you have a 50:50 chance of getting it right. ;)
