Database Error?

I started getting this message here yesterday. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I get this both on Firefox and Safari.

You'll get that now on any website that is not a secure site (they begin with https) like a bank or credit card site. Several, if not all, of the browsers recently added that change.
Since you aren't entering your credit card number or logging in to your bank here, I wouldn't worry a lot about it.
Be street smart.
Don't use the same password here that you use for your bank account website.
Don't use your real name in your email address.
Don't display your full DOB in your profile here.
Don't store PMs that contain data like your home address or social security number or combination to your safe.....

Things go wrong from time to time. You just have to take it in stride. Actually, this site is one of the best in terms of how well it functions.

Maybe we all like it so much, we start to suffer withdrawal if we can't use it an hour or two!

In my long and sorry experiences with computers, maybe 51 years now, I've found that "upgrades" often result in "downgrades". Just because some starry eyed vendor touts his latest and greatest as being great, the results often are just he opposite. Software is developed in a lab type setting. It tested at a beta site that my or may not be a real world test. Then other factors can come into play that make something that seemed great in theory that make the software terrible. And sometimes there is no path back to the way things were.

More than one software vendor has been put on the ropes or knocked out by not fully testing a product before releasing it. Its also one of the fun parts of being a DP manager who believed the claims. You get to call the vendor and scream at them to fix it. Often they are clueless, and it seems that the software that is balky will sometimes even lock up with continued use. The browser vendors are "too big to fail", just like the banks.

Here we have hobby software. No one's life is at stake over everyone waiting for 2 minutes for the screen to move. But it sure does take the pleasure out of what used to be a fun past time. Our only course of action is to wait and see.
