I have a pinned barrel, blued, round butt S&W model 36-1 revolver for which I hope someone can provide an estimated date of manufacture.


The serial number on the bottom of the butt is J4653XX.

The database doesn't list many near your serial number, but S&W shipped the closest ones in July 1976.
