Date of Manufacture, Model 34-1?

I've been looking around on the web for a little while and came upon a nice looking Model 34-1. I was hoping that someone might be able to help me out as I only have a partial serial number:
M149XXX
Any help is appreciated, just trying to get some idea of how old the gun is. Thanks in advance.

Series M130001 - M160000 was used in 1980 - 1981. The Model 34-1 is built on a J-frame and was made from 1960 to 1980. The M prefix began in 1969.

While I do not have a model marked 34, I do have a Model of 1953 version. It is a joy to shoot, and I am sure you will enjoy having one.
