For those of you who live in states that participate in this meaningless time-warp....

A friendly reminder: Don't forget to set your clocks BACK one hour tonight.

But, you have to do it exactly at 2:00 AM, or else your time will be screwed up for the whole year. :D :D

Fall forward, like you are drunk. Spring back, like a spooked cat........

Someone will wake up at 3am if you do this right!!!:D

Thanks for the reminder; I had completely forgotten about the time change. I guess this means that the rooster will be waking me up a 5 a.m. for the next six months. DANG!

Spring ahead , fall back!

Personally , I don't see where ya get an extra hour of sleep. I get up whenever I want on Sunday morn!

It's the rest of the work week when my internal body clock gets all confused! :(

I already did all my timepieces in my house today at 10 AM.

So I guess on 11/3 at 2 AM, the big hand will be on the 12 and the little guy on the 1. I believe I have it.:D

Ah yes, we now enter the "no light for doing stuff after work" part of the year. That frosts my butt more than anything. I do get to see my old friend Orion an hour earlier though.

Living in Arizona, home of sensible, gun-savvy people and state legislators, I have to ask:

What is this "time change" thing of which you speak?

We get up and go to bed at pretty much the same time year around. As one of my native American friends puts it:

"You white men. It is like you think things are better if you cut a foot off the bottom of the blanket and attach it to the top..."

John

An old Indian (or Native American, if you are being PC) once said, " Only a white man would tell you that you can cut the end off of a blanket and then sew it to the other end and make the blanket longer."

Dang, you beat me too it. This is one of my favorite quotes of all time!!!
Did you know this whole debacle was started so retailers could have an extra hour to sell candles? Thats all!

Woo hoo. An extra hour of drinkin at the local waterin hole tonite. Not really. I just had knee replacement surgery and am home bound for a while. This time change won't really have an effect on me until I get back to work. Hopefully by then I will have adjusted to the time change.

I dont know what to think about the time change except to be a Lemming about it. :D

I'm at work. I just went back to the future....

Now I got to wait another hour for my relief to show....

Clocks???? I got some around here somewhere I think. Don't have much use for them anymore. Sun comes up a little after I do and it goes down a little before I do so I pretty much go by that.

Haven't seen my watch since I quit working, don't seem to need it anymore for my life style. If I know I have a doctors appointment or something I look at the phone or the tv or just ask somebody what time it is.

OK, I set my alarm to get me up at 2 AM to set my clocks back. By the time I got up it was already back to 1 AM. So, my question is, how do they get gin to taste like pine needles?

Juniper is related to pine and juniper berries are the basis for gin so it tastes like pine trees.
I just waited and set um back this am. My watch and our phones do it magically

Only have one watch that I wear once and a while. It is a Life Saving award from GM. Only one I've ever seen. Gives me a large boost thinking I did do something right that day.

I love standard time. The guys who hunt regularly at the club and have "real" jobs, are now restricted to weekends. Pretty much gives me and my best bud the run of the place for the rest of the year! :D

Well at least the kids don't have to walk to school in the dark now.

Hmm. Maybe I'll give my full, unbiased opinion on what time kids got to school in the US in another thread. Let's just say this is not a problem in most of the rest of the civilised world except maybe in Northern Scandinavia.
