Daytona Turkey Run

After few years of putting it off went with long time friend to the Daytona Turkey Run yesterday. All I can say if one is even slightly interested in cars and trucks consider going next year. Must have walked 5 miles and didn’t see everything. Any kind of car and parts were there. Big $$$ but many show car condition ones for sale. We only saw one military vehicle, a 61 M-151 that was not that bad and could be easily restored.Car show next to track had around 6000 vehicles!

Been to three of them, driving down to them, in my Camaro Z28 in 2008, 2010, & 2011. Great HUGE event, huge swap meet area, huge car corral area. Impossible to see everything in a day. And then 'fun stuff' after hours on Rt. A1A.

We saw many nice cars on I-95 coming and going to Turkey Run, amazing. There are car shows at The Avenue Mall in Jax several times a year, about 2000+- cars.
