Stopped by my local <STRIKE>pusher</STRIKE> er, dealer today and spotted a strong 98% blue 39-2. No box, 1 mag, and $260 OTD. Serial puts it in the early 70's. I normally go for high-cap nines, but that slim grip seems kinda sexy. I told him I'd let him know tomorrow.

Sounds like a good deal to me. If I found a nice classic like that and had the cash, I would get it.

I don't need another single stack 9mm but I would not pass up any M39 at that price. Jump on it fast!

I'd be on that like a frog on a junebug!!
Post the pics..............

Regards,

I bought it. Thanks to everyone who participated. 32-0 was a pretty hard score to ignore!

Now, who has a couple magazines they want to get rid of?

Lol, looks like we're still voting.

Congrats on your new purchase. I've made up my mind that any S&W revolver or pistol, in good shape, for $299 or less is a good deal.
