Actually...I've been carrying the Colt on the belt and saving the 442 for ankle..and yes, I have gone out with both...but only because my renegade ankle rig is so comfortable, I forgot I had it on....

Simple, one on each hip, keeps everything in balance (Colt on the strong side, it is just a bit heavier, especially with that extra round in the chamber).

I am going to suggest that you carry both one gun on hip the other on the other hip just like cowboys do in the western movies, just make sure the belt your wearing is good and strong.

Personally, I never found an ankle holster to be of much use - - :O

Have been...it's a little bigger and heavier, but on the belt, not that big a deal...I tried ankle carry but it was too heavy..don't know how my dad did if for so many years...maybe it's it's that whole non complaining suck it up greatest generation thing...
