I did a favor for my brother the other day and he brought me these in appreciation.

He is a retired meat cutter and still has friends in the business. He can really pick out a nice cut of beef.

A nice salad and some potato salad I made to go with a roasted chicken (usually I would bake a potato with this meal).

Heated the grill up to around 475 degrees, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Perfect. Over the lips, past the gums...as they say. :D

Wow that looks good. I grilled three real nice ribeyes couple weeks ago. Stupid me, I put them on the dining room table, turned my back, for maybe thirty seconds, came back in and the third one was on the floor with the resident Weim getting ready to inhale it. Gosh is she fast! It was my fault because I know she would get them but forgot. Lesson reloaded!

Wow! Perfectly grilled steak and some homemade potato salad. Can't get much better than that. Actually made my mouth water.

#2. if you see a 1/8 or 1/4 " stainless 18" x12" , sand it, place on a grill, maranated steaks are best, but everything else has to be ready, just as the plate turns graypinkish, suggested long heavy fork, throw steaks on plate, the steaks kindof engulf in flame, no more than 30 seconds, flip, 30 seconds 2 ed. side, meat will melt in the mouth, sorry i lent the plate to friends.

Here's the official judging chart from the Steak Cookoff Association indicating points awarded for appearance (ya did good):

These guys take their steak VERY seriously. Wanna up your steak game?

I take my Steak Grilling seriously. We grill steaks at least once a week, sometimes twice and I make them rare to medium rare. The Prime NY Sirloin steaks at Costco are fantastic, consistent and absolutely delicious.

Been experimenting with Lobster tails on the grill but only about once month. We entertain quite a bit and buying them gets a bit pricy when feeding 8 -10 hungry friends (2 takes each) - lol.

Once in a while we actually just prefer good Burger, Hot Dog, Beans and Corn on the cob cook out.

Delicious looking meal, and wouldn't pass it up for the steak being very slightly over done. And as the rare preferenced club pres used to say, "so long as it ain't purple".
