You members report lots of posts that need attention, and we greatly appreciate that!
However, it is apparent that many don't know the difference between spam and scam.
Spam is unwanted and obnoxious advertising. It is not really harmful, just annoying.

Some of the scammers here are simply trying to get you to send them money quickly using a method that offers NO protection like PayPal Friends & Family, Zelle, or Venmo. They are usually advertising a really good deal.
We have had established member accounts hacked. They are NOT hacked here. Even I cannot see your password. I can reset it for you, but I cannot see your present password. People's email accounts get hacked. Use a STRONG password for your email account! If you see a really good deal offered by an old member, go slowly, especially if he demands an instant and unprotected payment method.
MOST of the scammers here answer WTB ads. Look through the WTB Forum for many scam alerts that show their answers to ads stating they know exactly where to find what you are looking for.
Use your heads, folks. Anybody, anywhere, can talk to you on the net.
