Thank you for your e mail and thoughts. I agree that the shootings in Connecticut were very tragic. But the national media tried to play this as a gun problem, I think it was a mental health issue, just like the VT shootings.
The VA General Assembly is not in session until January 2014, so we can not act on any bills at this time.
I have an "A" rating from the NRA. This is an election year, you may want to see what the other people running for office think about this issue
