I ordered the M&P 15 from Cabelas Dec,12 2012. How long should I wait? What I am looking at for my order to be filled?

No way for us to know. I'd say you'll get one when they get some in. Times are crazy right now. The dust from the stampede hasn't even begun to settle yet.

That just ain't right. If they don't have it they shouldn't be selling it.

I ordered two on Feb. 13th, picked them up at the FFL on the 19th. If Bud's says they have them, they actually have them.

I think Cabella's is shipping orders with the current inflated prices before honoring the older orders at a lower price?

I have ammo on backorder since late December. Cabella's keeps emailing me and pushing the order back another month!
So now they say my order will be shipped the end of March?

I find it hard to believe they have not received any American Eagle 5.56 since December?

I'll bet the orders after mine at much higher prices have been shipped already?

Interesting....never heard of Cabela's taking an order for a firearm. I had always heard it was first come, first server, sorry, we can't hold one for you. (I had assumed that ordering one would be the equivalent of holding one.)

I've "heard" that if the store you are at doesn't have one and another one does. They can get it for you,but you have to put the money up front at the same time to get it. ?? It might also depend on who's waiting on you too and how well they like their job and willing to actually help you.

I've had "snotnosed kids" try to tell me how much better something else is or can't get something... and you have already seen it on their website.
