Hi
Judy and I and our son and grandson are in Denver this week for the Big Denver show.

This year the Colorado Gun collectors is hosting the NRA Annual Collectors Show with their show this week end May 19 and 20th.
There will be over 80 Displays this year. Judy and I will have a display of the Rare and Limited Production Revolvers.
There are a number of recent additions to the display.

Our son Jeff will have a display also. Jeff's display will be two Ed McGriven revolvers and related items. This display won Best of Show at the Washington Arms show last fall. If you are coming to the show stop by and said Hi, we would love to see you.

If you haven't been to this show it is pretty large, as expected lots of old western arms and memorabilia. But lots of other stuff as well. Worth the price of admission IMHO.

I was at the Tanner Gun Show in Denver in April. Was where I caught my first glimpse of the Shield. Also saw a few items that will require some cash this time around if they have em there. Going to take my boys and make a morning of it. :D

Thanks for the heads up!!!

hi
We got display set up complete about 11;00. and final got time to check out the show. There are 77 displays a lot of great ones, There were some pretty good buys on S&W revolvers looks like the price is a little lower than other shows I have been at. Had a lot of people stop by the display.
hope to see more members tomorrow.

Checked out Jim's display today along with his son's. Drop by and look them over if you get a chance. These were two VERY impressive displays!

Am headed to the gun show this a.m. with the family. Looking forward to it. Will try to post pics later if I can.........

Went to the show yesterday. Bought some very good deals on books. S&W displays as described above -- EXCELLENT!

Saw Mr. Supica in attendance. R.L. Wilson was there hawking some wildly expensive book. The Champlin Arms table had not as many English double rifles as in years past, but still some really neat stuff.

Question: you guys mention taking photographs. Photography is forbidden at the monthly Tanner shows, are they allowed at this Collector's show? Didn't see any cameras being used, but with cell phone cameras I suppose people would take pics any way.

Huge Show!!! Didn't have time to take a good look at everything but my favorite displays were the wall of S&W revolvers and the miniature replica's. Also saw a really nice Colt 1911 Series 70 with what looked like black mother of pearl grips and a short barrel Winchester Model 94 30-30 for a really good price. All in all I was overwhelmed by the size of the show and the number of displays. Wish I could have spent more than a couple of hours there but had to get to a Colorado Rockies game with the family. Could easily have spent 5-6 hours there looking at all kinds of stuff!!!
