I was so depressed last night thinking about the current crisis with the economy, that I called Lifeline.

Got a freakin' call center in Pakistan.. I told them I was suicidal. They got all excited and asked if I could drive a truck

That was funny in a sick sort of way.

Maybe the truth in this joke came closer to home than we want to admit.

Depression is when you lose your job.

Recovery is when Obama loses his job.

I wasn't sure from the topic title if the joke was going to be about personal depression or economic depression. The joke sort of covers both.
