Such an unimaginal tragedy. A family ruined. I wonder how long this will continue to happen. Far as I'm concerned it's time to take out the trash.

For everyone: let this be a multi-faceted lesson. 1) Don't leave firearms unsecured in a place/manner that could result in such a situation. 2) Criminals lie and fake compliance and do all sorts of repugnant things. We must always assumed and be prepared for the worst. Cops must do things in a certain way to maintain control because we cannot predict when things will go completely sideways.
