Desantis Cozy Partner

I got a cs40 and have been thinking about getting the Cozy Partner. It's on sale right now and can get it shipped for $51. Was curious if anyone had any good things to say about it....or negative for that fact. Any other IWB holsters in the $50 range they can recommend for the cs40?

I had one for my PPK and I found it pretty thick, what with the loops over a reinforced mouth and all..for the same money you can have Ray at Lobogunleather make you a nice thin IWB with fore and aft loops which are not only very stable, but slim in your pants....

Yah I've contacted Ray previously about making a holster and his attitude was absolute ****. He had the whole "Holier than though" thing going on....plus his turn around was 12 weeks. Noooooo thanks.

That doesn't sound like the same Ray with whom I have corresponded in the past few weeks. He was very helpful, prompt in his email replies (same day or next day, depending upon when I sent my email), and he indicated that my order would take just 5 weeks to fulfill. His prices, too, can't be beat, compared with other custom holsters. I'm not negating your report; just offering mine as a contrast.

How come you are the only person on this forum that claims to have had problems dealing with Ray? I just ordered a holster from him 2 weeks ago and the wait time is 4 to 5 weeks. He was nice to deal with.

He made me a pancake for a snub 19 back during Christmas, and I talked to him via email. His reply was prompt, courteous, and his turnaround was about six weeks. His prices are excellent and so is the quality, so his turnaround may have increased as a result. I suggest you try him again; the work is great, and he DEFINITELY seems to know what he's talking about, based on the experiences here on the Forum with our members. Sip, I'd like to have an IWB like that for a 1911 and a lefty.

Then get the the DeSantis. It's thick and a bit uncomfortable but at least you can have it right away.

I use a Milt Sparks Versa Max II for my CS45 but it cost alot more than the Cozy Partner and the wait time is way long.The Cozy Partner is much thicker because the belt loop is on the same line as your gun.
