Devil made me buy this

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I also have a near mint K22 shipped 9-23-1947. It is a one liner with LERK. Box and tools too. That just happens to be my 5th birthday. Once again, thanks all. Big Larry

Revolver arrived today and it is drippy mint, and unfired since the factory in 1947. Will Ren-Wax it and put it away hoping to find a nice gold box for it someday. I did this deal with Joe Salter of Downeast Antiques and cannot remember being treated as well as I was doing this deal. Very fast shipping too. Big Larry

That's very pretty. The cylinder hasn't been turned much. Does it have sock lint on it? Nice catch.

I got mine a few years ago from an older gentleman walking a gun show. A bunch of guys were looking at it and I heard him say "I wont take less than $275.00 for it. The lookers handed it back to him, I jumped on it, no box or tools.

Happened to me as well at a Reno show. Guy was handling a minty Winchester M94-22 at a dealers table. I walked by and took notice of the conversation. The guy hymed and hawed for about 5 minutes while I watched. Finally, he put the rifle down and walked away. I had no problem picking up the rifle and paying for it. $300 out the door. Sometimes I wonder why some folks even go to gun shows. Big Larry

Another one from 1947. I bought it about 3 years ago for $475. It's better looking than the picture shows.

Yes, I too have been a victim of poor photo's. Recently, I reluctantly gave $400, shipped, for a 22/32 Heavy Frame that looked like boat anchor in the pics. When it came, I was prepared for the worst. The revolver was near 98%. Surprise, surprise. Shot it, cleaned and Ren Waxed it. Sometimes you get real lucky. Big Larry
