Diamondback SDR

What a cool gun! They slightly updated an old concept without getting all weird about it. (See S&W’s lever gun)

It looks great. I LOVE the sights. No ridiculous safety. The Push Button cylinder release is brilliant. Hey, Single Action revolvers have had that feature for eons, so why not?

The people at Diamondback are obviously sharp, and very ambitious. Even the name of the company is great. They caught Colt asleep at the wheel.
They alluded to a Target Revolver. I’m keeping an eye on these guys.

If they’ll bob the hammer or conceal it, I’d be about perfect. I’ve never owned a Diamondback or read much about them. I know they make semiautomatic pistols that’s all. Any one here own one?

I use a Diamondback DB9 Gen 4 as my everyday carry piece. It is a single stack 9mm, the smallest that I am aware of. Six round magazine. I use a mag without the stupid toe extension, which only serves to make a small gun bigger. Very thin, very small, and not fun to shoot. But I didn't get it for fun, I got it to have with me at any time, which if it were a double-stack tub I would not. It is a minimalist firearm, no more to it than there needs to be.
