No nothing sent though I believe at time of submission just an acknowledgement.
I called a few weeks later the number on the form for Customer Service and they were able to validate my submission was complete and in process and reminded me 8-10 weeks:)

Nope, didn't get an email, just confirmation screen. I expect rebate is going to take some time to process just due to the volume.

I don't understand how in this day and age they can't:

a) send an automated confirmation email for an online form submission.
b) process a rebate claim in less than two months.

Anyways....

No confirmation email, just a "submission received" page.

I'm not sure what good it does to print the page, as it gives no confirmation #.[emoji848]

Dear XXX,

We would like to thank you for your e-mail and contacting Smith & Wesson / Thompson Center.

We don’t send out e-mail confirmations. At the end of the entry process, a screen will come up that says:

Thank You!

Your “Savings You Can Carry” rebate submission has been received. Please allow 8-10 weeks for fulfillment of valid rebate requests. Please print this screen for your records.

If you saw this screen, then your entry was successfully submitted.

Our Rebates are processed by Milanos Rebate Company. For inquires related to receipt or status of a submission. you contact them for further assistance at 866-963-7933.

There is a way to validate your entry online but due to how the process works, it can take a few weeks for your information to show up. You can use the link below to check your status.

Milano Online Rebate Inquiry

Thank You for choosing Smith & Wesson / Thompson Center products. Have a great day.

I tried the Milano Onine Rebate Inquiry and it just says:
There is no record of a claim with the information provided.

Please verify that the phone number, zip code, and last name were entered correctly.

The claim may not be available at this time, please call 866-963-7933 for additional assistance.
I'm fine waiting but now I've got doubt in my mind that my rebate even went through. Anyone else care to put their info in and see if it says the same thing?

It said the same for me too, I submitted mine 4/22/17 so info may not be available yet.

Has anybody actually received an rebate yet?

No one that I have heard.

Offer valid April 1 - June 30, 2017
The 1st was not quite 6 weeks ago and they are saying 8-10 weeks.

I submitted my rebate claim on 4/11.

The Milano website did not show my claim on the morning of 5/2. I was concerned because S&W's online rebate form had been changed since my submission, adding fields for type of rebate and store information. I emailed S&W on 5/2 and received the answer quoted above later that day.

My rebate claim did not show up on the Milano website until 5/8.

I tried the Milano site. Nothing. I re-submitted the rebate information. Let S&W figure it out. They really should have set up an email confirmation. Now they are going to get hundreds or thousands of re-submissions.

Same deal. I believe I originally submitted my rebate on April 2nd and yet here on May 12th they seem to have no record of it. Because of that, I just resubmitted the form. It's been over a month which should be plenty of time for them to have a record of a digital form submission.

Funny story about this rebate situation, I went into my usual gun shop on April 1st to purchase a gun, felt the Shield calling my name since I wanted one a couple years ago, and April 2nd the shop gives me a call and says, "You probably already knew, but S&W does have a rebate going on for these."

Had no idea, actually. Very good timing for me to not buy one a day sooner than I did.

"I re-submitted the rebate information. Let S&W figure it out."

That should help speed up and smooth the process for everyone.

I followed the rules. They allow for no notification. I'm not going to NOT get my ammo money. It's all by serial number. It should be easy to eliminate duplicates. At least I know I'm in. Who programmed this anyway, the guys that did the Obama Care website?

On a related topic, does anyone know what is required as far as the receipt when you submit for the rebate? I ordered my Shield online and only have a confirmation email with what I ordered and what I paid but no serial number. I also have a receipt from my local FFL that does show the serial number but it's just a small receipt for a transfer fee and background check.

Maybe I should just call S&W and ask?
