never thought doing the right thing would stress you
My friend called ask me to find him a nice durable steel 9mm
So I have been snooping, and last week my local shop knows I collect 3rd gens
he said I have a 5906 what it worth, I thought of my friend asap
My guy (local dealer) is very fair to me and my possee
I asked he said one mag
I said well I figure 340 to 395 depending on condition etc
He said he lets make your buddy a deal 325.00 OTD
I asked him to keep it in the back its sold
I called my bud have him a strong suggestion to buy it I really had his best interest at heart
Friday I picked up
5906 with adj sights with the little adj tool (I wanted to glomb that soo bad)
with box 2 mags
What a deal!
But to keep things in perspective, just last week he knew I was busy, and need some work done on my boat. I was having a tough time getting to it he did it for me. I was quite greatfull to say the least
I sure would have kept it if it would have been someone who had not done my quite a few favors and was a good guy
I did the right think but I wanted to keep it HAHA
Funny thing it was not a LE trade
I brought it home and gave it a good clean and discovered something
*** LE trades = exterior wear from holster etc not much internal wear not shot much
***Civilian = brite shiny exterior more internal wear from actually being shot often
either way a S-10 pick up bed full of ammo not sure you would wear one out anyway
