Did Tyler T for N Frame always have stamped markings?

I saw a grip adapter for a N frame that was listed as an original Tyler T grip adapter and it came with an original box but the adapter did not have the stamping in it like all old Tyler T’s I have seen. Where they sometimes not stamped or is this likely a newer production item with an old box?

The new ones are not stamped. I’ve ordered a few over last 5 yrs or so. I also ordered a basic K frame black T Grip back in the 90s that was not marked. Now when the change took place I don’t know.

Way to tell a difference?

Is there a reliable way to tell the difference between a new old stock Tyler T and a new production Tyler T from pictures alone if the stamping is not present?

I have one stamped and two not stamped. I also have some BK adapters which are a better design and fit than the Tylers and they are quickly available.

I THINK there has been some change to the logo but can't guarantee that. I'm sure someone more expert in the brand will be along soon. As for the unstamped ones, no clue.

Old one Tyler from early 1970's

As others have stated the newer ones are unmarked and the black ones I ordered a couple of years ago came with a thick finish like baked on something. I won’t be ordering any more new ones.
