Didn't know they made a rifle like this!

7mmRM seems an odd choice. I didn't think it was a hot cartridge among the precision crowd like the .300WM.

I think all gun nuts eventually get an "odd duck" gun in either an obsolete caliber, weird design, or both.
 
Actually, brass, dies, and bullets (200 gr) are readily available==but pricey and sometimes hard to find ( brass is a one run a year deal==lots available on Gunbroker)==250 gr Silvertips (for elk, moose & bear) are out there but VERY pricey. Worth it though!

I actually have two mint boxes of 1940s vintage Winchester .348 ammunition - the Standing Bear box. But those are too valuable to shoot.
