I'm in the market for a long slide /5" 9mm for range work. Given that there aren't allot of choices to begin with, and that I REALLY like my 45fs and 9C M&P already, I'm leaning towards a M&P. However, typical of S&W's crapola website, there is almost do descriptive info on what you get for your $.
So can somebody tell me the details on these two models?

sights
trigger work (from the Performance center)
Pro has a machined sear, the L has a MIM sear

if you are going to do work on it, get the L.
for out of the box shooting get the Pro.

an Apex sear is better than the Pro sear.

M&P9 Pro

I went with the Pro to get the fiber optic sights....for me it's much easier for target acquisition and framing my target. Trigger is great....better after break-in from range and dry firing. LOVE the gun....
