I have the Guns & Ammo 1990 Handguns Annual that includes Mr. Jinks registered magnum article. I know that this is the same article that appeared earlier in the SWCA Journal but I understand that the G&A version has been abbreviated. Does anyone know what was edited from the Handguns Annual version that I have?

They were both damaged by some editing and typo's. Not a big issue, but if you read and study both you'll see that numbers don't add up.

Roy did an excellent job from scratch. I don't think he lowered himself to "peer review" which would have probably improved it. Mostly minor thingss. As I recall, one that stood out to me was RM 318 in the list of nickel guns was listed differently in the later article. There it was listed as having exotic pearl grips.

Because I owned the gun at that time, I can assure you that it didn't, nor did it letter that way.

There was also some discussion on the guns in the RM 4200 area. I think one of them was listed twice (not 4200 itself.) What comes out of it was that those of us that owned specific guns would look at them and pick up problems.

Also there continues to be a question with the KC guns, how to count them (RMs or non.) And we have no idea what became of the 180 frames that Roy says were never finished.
