Group,
There have been a few threads over the years regarding the Registered Magnum with Registration Number 100 (owned by Jimmie Stewart). One of our former esteemed members, Ed Cornett, told me about the gun years ago, and posted on this forum the following:
Jimmie's RM was reg.#100. Shipped to a Los Angeles distributor in 1935. It was a 99% gun when I owned it. A fellow member of the S&WCA purchased it from me several yrs. ago at an annual meeting. Jimmie gave the gun to Carbine Williams as a gift when he made the movie about Carbine Williams with Jimmie starring as Carbine. Carbine later gave the gun to the 50s gun dealer and friend of his, Hy Hunter. Hunter sold it to another collector, who sold it to me. Ed .

The answer I am looking for is which assembly number is stamped on the frame of Reg 100? I presume someone on this forum owns the gun or is connected with the person that does. I also understand that the person that owns it may not want to reveal its current location to prevent annoying people knocking on their proverbial door, but I am hoping someone has a record of it (or can get it) and share with the group.
There is a greater purpose to this question that may help solve the mystery of a different Registered Magnum several people are looking for. I am happy to share this information if we can determine the Assembly number for Reg 100.
I apologize in advance for the suspense, but the hunt is always fun!
Regards, Lyle
