Was researching my next M&P purchase. Noticed the 5" barrel(non-Cali) listed twice but two different part numbers.
205301 (9L)
178010 (picture has pro series engraved, but not in description)
Weights are slightly different, and lengths are barely different.
But why are the lower front of the slides different? The 9L is angled slightly and the non-9L is straight from top to bottom.
Is the 178010 actually a pro series and they leave that little extra portion for more weight out front(recoil management)? Maybe I'm over thinking this, LOL, but just some things I noticed.
oh and the 9L has a lock or something at the front of the beavertail.
