different safeties?

newbie here trying to buid/price one on the s&w web site, I see two options for safety:

how are they different? is one better than the other?

The images for both look the same.

I can't imagine where they'd put a safety, other than the normal selector switch.

They are the same on all 15-22s, who ever designed that part of the website messed up.
