Did you take the serial number from the butt of the gun? if so, the gun probably dates to 1932. If that number is from the hidden frame surface exposed when the cylinder is open, it is not the serial number and has no relevance for determining age.
Can you post photos, or at least describe the "special finish?" Your description makes me think the gun may have been refinished, and the stocks sound like replacements from a later era.
