I just got off the phone with Dillon's customer service. I was calling to replace a broken part of the primer early warning sensor on my ~35-year-old RL550B. He said the design has changed, so they'd have to replace the whole assembly. He declined my offer of my credit card--"It's still under warranty."

In this era of caveat emptor and shoddy foreign-made goods, lt is very gratifying to do business with a quality American company.

11/19/24 It got here today. I am impressed.

Only parts I ever had to pay for, were when I modernized it from a 450 to a 550 B. I keep the factory parts kit stocked, so when I drop and lose a part down the heat vent at 9PM Friday night, and had a shoot Saturday, I could keep loading. Replacements were there by next Wednesday, Free of Charge!

There's a reason it's the go-to for progressive presses and their products. Unbelievable customer service and superb engineering. My 550 was bought in 1988 and love it. Great folks to work with!!
