Dings

I have a SS Model 60 which I managed to ding last night. The ding is on the barrel right next to the crown. Can anyone tell me if this is something I can repair myself or is this a Smith and Wesson fix? Thanks.

If it's satin finish, known as glass bead blast, anything that you do, including Flitz, will change the appearance of the repair area and probably look worse. Smith & Wesson offers a fair refinishing package. I am just sending a 1076 to them. That would be my best advice.
